Altea Green Power ("Altea" or "the Company"), a company engaged in the development and construction of environmentally-friendly power generation plants and as a "service integrator" for all-round assistance during all the stages of the construction and management of green plants, announces the signing of an agreement to sell 2 GW of storage solutions in Italy on the international LevelTen Energy Platform.
In the words of Giovanni Di Pascale, CEO of Altea Green Power: “We are delighted to have signed this agreement, which allows us to expand our business opportunities, following a model that may not yet be common in Italy, but is widely recognized and embraced overseas. The process of selling our 2 GW storage projects starts in these very days on LevelTen Energy's platform. Over the next month, we will be accepting all the offers from interested parties and aim to conclude the sale by 2023. Storage, an area where we boast solid know-how, is a pivotal technology for the future of renewable energy and the ongoing energy transition. It enables constant access to clean, renewable energy, serving as a practical, structural solution to alleviate price volatility and prevent issues of grid congestion and overload”.
The projects made available by Altea Green Power on the LevelTen Asset Marketplace were designed in association with the Milan-based independent consulting firm Elemens, which specializes in the analysis and development of energy market scenarios.
